Moment to Share

Last Saturday morning I received a text message from one of my friends stating that we will be meeting at the mall by five in the afternoon. I was quite excited, we always have this kind of meeting, but no one is being done. I did not expect that this will happen, at two in the afternoon she text me again that she is on her way to Davao. Then, I realize that this is the moment. I contacted my other friend to join with us. We threesome had our best strolling until we found out that we have to take our dinner, we decided to eat at 8:45 in the evening. We had a lot of fun and of course taking pictures as a souvenir, we've not getting any younger so we have to grab the opportunity as long as we can smile and smile. For our friends who could not make it better to join next time around, all have to do is to spend a time for this. It's a kind of unwinding the stress over a period of time.

Patience

"Patience serves as a protection against wrongs as clothes do against cold. For if you put on more clothes as the cold increases, it will have no power to hurt you. So in like manner you must grow in patience when you meet with great wrongs, and they will then be powerless to vex your mind". This is a quote from Leonardo da Vinci. As I was reading, I remembered one person that needs my patience so badly. Every time she puts me down I was strongly uplift my personality and be humble for all the things she had done. I truly understand her for whatever words she might have been spoken to me. Sometimes I cannot control my temper and fought back against her by saying straight to the point, but after I was realized why I have to go down to her level instead try not to mind her and think that she is not worthy to be entertained of. I have a lot of things to do and need my attention. After all, I think she has the symptoms of Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).

A Father's Love

Yes! I am my father's girl. As I remember a long time ago my father's love for me was so tender and full. Mainly because I am the only daughter to three siblings, but it is not the reason that I fell this way. He works so hard for us even if the nature of his work is very risky, he did not mind it. He went home four days a month because his assigned projects were so far. Every time he is in home we had a lot of foods, it's like having fiesta every day. We enjoyed bonding with our father and I am the most demanding to all, but sometimes I was so scared if I got a mistake because he is very seldom to be mad at me even in my ill-mannered attitude as a child. Now, I am thirty-four years old and still wanting my father to be back again and I know it is impossible to happen. The times we've been together if not enough. I had my regrets, hoping that my father was still alive.

Dream Cellphone

My friend and I went to Mall last week, we did a window shopping of cellphones. She wants to give a cellphone for his son, a birthday gift. As we entered some stores, I was always looking at the display of Iphone4. I've touched it, but the sense of buying it is not the priority for now and I set my mind that it is only a dream cellphone. I want a touchscreen phone and that cellphone is what I wanted. Someday if I have plenty of resources why not buying it. Sometimes there are things that you cannot have right away, in time maybe it can be mine. Lol

Angry Birds fanatic

Finally, I made up my mind on what cake to have on my daughter's birthday with the help of my co-parent in school. All I think is just a simple ordering and that's all but, it takes more than a week to finalize my order. The usual trend for ordering cake is going to a certain store and picking the cake you want in their catalog. If you want to customize it you have a series of conversations and sharing of ideas in order to come up the right cake of your choose. It's my first time to have this, since the past birthdays are only ready to made cake and one time order only. The cake is not a big one but, my daughter wanted an angry birds theme and it is so hard to find a cake maker for this. So lucky I found one and it is her first time to make a cake with an angry birds theme. The ordering period is about two weeks before the date of pick-up and I was able to made it, all I have to do is to give my fifty percent down-payment this coming Monday. I gave my full effort on this because it's my daughter 9th. birthday and she dream of it. It is also our thanksgiving because she received an honor certificate for the first grading period and a certificate of Most Friendly. I am so glad that my daughter is so dedicated in her studies.

Mother of the Universe

Today, September 8, 2011 is the Fiest of Mother Mary. For the Roman Catholic People Mary recognized as the mother of all especially to Jesus Christ. Early this morning I attended a mass in honor for the birthday of Mama Mary. I accompanied my friend Cathy, we used to attend mass in school together. As parents we want to become like Mama Mary but, it is very hard to follow her footsteps. Being a mother is not easy, in times of nurturing the children and becoming them a better person. A mother is the one who take in-charge of everything,even when she has a work outside or not. When it comes to responsibility a mother has a big role in the family, she reflects the well-being of the children and their outcome. To all mothers who have a lot of sacrifices and devoted to their family happy happy birthday! Cheers to us all.....

Sunday's Routine

Last night were planning to have the first mass but, unfortunately we waked-up late and decided not to go to mass. My conscience strikes me now, I have 6 days to go anywhere and only one hour I cannot spent it for God. I will make it the soonest I can, for now I have to attend a prayer of the soul,for a dear friend who's willing to share her helping hand especially to the poor. She is a great doctor indeed!
